ONE4ALL (Project 101091877), funded under the Horizon Europe programme (HORIZON-CL4-2022-TWIN-TRANSITION-01), aims to drive the transformation of manufacturing—especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)—towards Industry 5.0 by enhancing resilience, sustainability, and human-centricity.
At its core, ONE4ALL focuses on developing modular, reconfigurable cyber-physical production systems (RCPMs) powered by self-reconfigurable mobile collaborative robots, embedded with Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) sensors for real-time monitoring. These physical systems are complemented by data-driven digital twins and managed by a self-learning, AI-based decision support system (DSS).
Key elements of the project include:
-
A secure, intelligent orchestration platform (IOP) that integrates all modules (robots, digital twins, DSS, sustainability tools, etc.) with plug-and-play capabilities.
-
An adaptive workforce training programme to upskill workers for new technologies while ensuring safety and addressing gender/ethical dimensions.
-
A life cycle sustainability assessment tool, resource consumption monitoring, and quality monitoring systems.
-
Open-source approaches to promote interoperability and replicability.
-
Demonstration of the technology in two highly disrupted sectors—agri-food and pharmaceuticals—to showcase adaptability to fluctuating demands.
The project, launched on 1 January 2023 for a duration of 48 months, involves 12 partners across Europe and will culminate in a TRL6 (Technology Readiness Level) demonstration of its modular systems in real-world manufacturing environments
