Exploitation of stretched design limits

Report on fracture mechanical behaviour of high temperature steels for steam turbine components (e.g. crack propagation, fracture toughness). The report will discuss methods for handling thermal and load history effects such as, for instance, warm pre-stressing with application to results obtained in the project.
