Report on the impact of aviation aerosol on cirrus radiative properties as a function of weather conditions and sensitivity to cloud process representation as derived from LES and GCMs

Summary
This deliverable describes the outcomes of Task 1.2, i.e. from the regional (cloud-resolving) and global modelling of the impact of aviation-emitted aerosol on the radiative properties of cirrus clouds, which is the basis for assessments of the corresponding radiative forcing. Uncertainties are estimated using sensitivity studies, by mutually comparing results from two cloud-resolving models, by comparing their results from two global models, by using two different emission inventories, by comparison of certain scenes with matching satellite observation data and by exploring different cloud parameterisation settings.
