Control systems for maximum power capture and provision of frequency support

Control strategies are developed to achieve high power conversion train efficiency whilst accommodating the control strategy for maximum power capture. Modelling and simulation of different control strategies to provide frequency support are implemented. Comparison of results under scenarios with and without frequency control. Frequency indexes (e.g. Frequency drop index and Inertial response index) are adopted to assess performance of the control strategies.
