Classification of disruptive events

This deliverable refers to task 1.3. The classification of disruptive events will enable to describe and understand natural and social disruptive events in European transport, estimate their impact on transport infrastructure and develop possible reaction or prevention measures to mitigate their effects and increase transport resilience. Classification will include at least the follwing dimensions for different types of natural disasters and disruptive events: Type of disruptive event, geographical extent, time, effects/impact on infrastructure, effects on workforce, long-term trends, wider economic and environmental effects.
