Fourth webinar for researchers at risk, on topic to be decided in consultation with researchers at risk. Preliminary list of topics to be developed further include:•Understanding the higher education sector in Europe• Guidance on European and national funding programmes•Overcoming professional isolation, developing networking and communication skills•Learning and applying appropriate research techniques (including literature review, qualitative research, fieldwork techniques)•Understanding research integrity and ethics•Exploring research opportunities, and writing research proposals•Communicating research data•Writing for publication in peer-reviewed journals•Identifying employment opportunities outside academia, in industry, business and the NGO sector
