Six locally-tailored INTERLACE city impulse papers will outline a set of recommendations for improving local policy coherency in urban ecosystem restoration and rehabilitation and green space planning. Specifics may be included on ways to resolve bottlenecks in governance/policy and optimise interactions between urban planning instruments. While their form and focus may vary by city to cater to local needs, each will be validated through targeted meetings with local CNA stakeholders. Potential outcomes could include a roadmap for implementation of restorative NBS, suggestions on optimising an existing strategy, guidance for improving governance processes, or ideas to better account for trade-offs of restorative NBS benefit delivery in urban planning. The final impulse papers will reflect different scales in urban planning, including recommendations for short to medium-term policy developments.
